Virginia Nelson Cox, 75, of North Little Rock passed away April 17, 2014 at her home. She was born April 8, 1939 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She retired from the Arkansas Division of Volunteerism after many years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wayland B. Cox, Sr. and son Patrick L. Cox. She is survived by one daughter; Teresa L. Hulbert (Joe) of Las Vegas, Nevada; son; Wayland B. Cox, Jr. ( Rhonda) of San Antonio, Texas, two sisters-in-law Rubye McClain of North Little Rock and Mary Romine (Aden) of Little Rock, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
