Virginia Burt

Mrs. Virginia Strayhorn Burt, 87, of Searcy, Arkansas, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus Tuesday, May 25, 2010. She was a member of Cloverdale Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, David Burt and wife Jeanie of Searcy; a daughter, Nancy McCaghren and husband Jerry of Longview, Texas; five grandchildren, Rachael and husband Davis Carman of Waxaw, North Carolina, Delaney McCaghren and wife Jamie of Midland, Texas, Anya and husband Kevin Bradford of Kathleen, Georgia, Natalia Burt of Little Rock and Tia Burt of Searcy; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Burt; and three brothers, Denver, Sam and Frealen Strayhorn; and a sister, Mildred.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2010, until funeral service which will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Burial will follow at Beebe Cemetery.
