Violet M. Hall, a cherished member of her community and a devoted family matriarch, passed away in her sleep on November 2, 2024, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Born on February 22, 1934, in Perry, Arkansas, she embodied strength and grace throughout her life. Violet was a godly woman known for her unwavering faith and commitment to her church, where she was an active participant, enriching her community with her spirit and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ivan L. Hall, her parents Jessie Louis Leach, and Sarah Francis Leach, along with six brothers and three sisters. Violet was a proud mother to Sheila Hall, Lori Taylor, and Kevin Hall, and a treasured grandmother to Amanda (Terry) Moore, Shane (Holly) Stoddard, and Brittany (Daniel) Atkinson. She was also blessed with ten great grandchildren; Will, Jacob & Delaney, Hayden, Haley, Taylor, Lakyn, Dawson, Davis, Dalton, and one great-great granddaughter Rylee. Her legacy of love and support will forever remain in the hearts of her family.

Among her proudest accomplishments, Violet played a significant role in helping to start the Arkadelphia MBSF, Sunday School teacher & active member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Redoak Missionary Baptist Church leaving a lasting impact on her community and those she served. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening (vegetables & flowers) and hobbies such as bowling, bingo, and sewing, activities that brought her joy and connected her with friends and family. She was the epitome of a Christian woman filling her house with love and devotion to God.

Pallbearers will be: David Webb, David Hennessee, Will Smith, Jacob Smith, Tim Stoddard and Wesley Q. Leach

Honorary Pallbearers: Staff at Quapaw Rehab Center, Randy Hill MD, Staff at CHI St. Vincent ER, and dear friend Gail Frjelich.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Violet’s life during a visitation on November 7, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on November 8, 2024, at 10:30 AM. Officiating Both services will be Bro. Joe Bob Smith & Bro. Dustyn Lewis held at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs, located at 2205 Airport Road. Burial to follow at Lowe Cemetery 158 Lowe Cemetery Trail, Royal, Ar. 71968.
