Violet Collins

Violet Jean Collins, age 83, of Arkadelphia, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021.  She was born September 21, 1937 to the late Fred and Ervie Murch in Henryetta, OK.

Violet was the best wife a husband could ever have and the best mother a son could have.

Violet is survived by her husband of 67 years, Edgar Collins; son, Edgar Collins, Jr of Arkadelphia; brother, Carlos Murch (Susan) of Malvern; sisters: Patsy Marshal of Hernando, MS, Erma Hendrix (Jim) of Arkadelphia, Darlene Kender (Eddie) of Arkadelphia; brother-in-law, Truman Collins of Curtis; sisters-in-law: Bernice Glasscock of Benton, Carolyn Carter of Searcy, Jean Dean of Lonoke, Linda Dugan of Little Rock, and Corine Clay (Ray) of Hot Springs; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be 2:00PM Friday, March 12, 2021 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Malvern.  Due to COVID-19 precautions there will be no visitation.
