Viola Craft, age 89, of Glenwood, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018. She was born on September 24, 1928 near Glenwood, the daughter of Franklin Warren Dollar and Offie Jane Sorrell Dollar. On January 10, 1947, she was married to Win Craft who preceded her in death on February 10, 1995. She was employed for many years as a nurses aide at Glenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation and was a member of the Sunshine Church of the Nazarene. While her health would allow, she was active in the Extension Homemakers Club and enjoyed attending the Glenwood Senior Citizens Center. She is survived by three children and their spouses, Roger and Linda Craft of Glenwood, Debra Northrop of Benton, Louisiana and Mary and John Campbell of Jackson, Mississippi; four grandchildren, Cynthia Brown, Wendy Williams, Casey Craft and Alan Sanders; ten great-grandchildren with one more on the way; two great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Jack Dollar of Biggs, California; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, May 7, 2018, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. J. B. Evans and Bro. Phil Hull officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Grants Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Casey Craft, Ryan Williams, Tyler Williams, Thomas Williams, Alan Sanders, River Brown and Jack Ryan Williams. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
