Viny Person
Viny Lou Clapp Person, 87, of Little Rock, passed away May 5, 2015. Born in Little Rock to Patrick Henry and Elizabeth Burton Clapp, she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She owned and retired from Viny's Day Care after 30 years.
Preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, a son, Elbert Person, and a great-granddaughter, she is survived by her son, James "Sonny" Person; daughter, Mary Beavers, both of Little Rock; grandchildren, Amber Sierra of Maumelle, James Climer (Kimberly) of North Little Rock, Jason Climer and Carrie Beavers, both of Little Rock, and James Schulte of Vilonia; and seven great-grandchildren.
There will be a gathering of friends and family to honor her life on Saturday, May 23 from 3-5 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.).
