Vickie Wallet Cockerham age 43 of Arkadelphia died Saturday, September 20, 2008 at her home. She was born in DeRidder, LA, August 14, 1965 the daughter of H. P. and Bobbie Sweat Wallet She was a 1983 graduate of Simpson High School where she was voted to Who's Who in Music. She was a backup singer in Nashville and had the opportunity to sing on the "Grand Ole Opry". She was a housewife and of Pentecostal Faith. She was preceded in death by her father H. P. Wallet and her grandmother, Eunice Wallet.
Survivors include her loving husband of 15 years, Adrian Cockerham, three sons Franklin and Andrew Cockerham both of Baton Rouge, LA and Cody Cockerham of Arkadelphia, one daughter, Ashley Nashee Wallet of Prairieville, LA, her mother Bobbie Silva of Simpson, LA, two sisters, Tammy Wallet Tellez and her husband Alfred of El Paso, TX and Rodonya Wallet Kennedy and her husband Larry of Shreveport, LA, three grandchildren, Emma, Isabella, and Hannah Cockerham.
Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Thursday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Arkadelphia with Brother Roland George officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
