Vicki Joyce Turner

Vicki Joyce Turner 72, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with her Lord on August 31, 2023.  She was born in Mineral Wells, Texas, the only child to the late Martha Scott Nelson and Jack B. Nelson.

During her childhood, she enjoyed going to Possum Kingdom Lake with her cousins during the summer.  Her friends and cousins described her as smart, funny, had lots of friends, and was a Spirit Sparkler in school.

In 1969, Vicki married John Turner who moved her all around Texas and Arkansas before they settled in the Little Rock area.

On Christmas Eve 1973, Vicki gave birth to her only daughter, Jacki Turner.

Over the years, Vicki, her Mom and Dad and Jacki loved to travel.  They took two trips to Hawaii, went on multiple cruises, and enjoyed playing poker.  They were inseparable.

Vicki retired after 25 years as a docket clerk for Judge Susan Webber Wright at the U.S. District Court/Eastern District of Arkansas.

Vicki and Jacki weren’t only Mother and Daughter, they were best friends and meant the world to each other.  Vicki loved her grand-dog Punkin more than anything.  Vicki knew and loved all of Jacki’s friends as her own.
