Vicki Griner
Vicki Griner, 55 of Sherwood, passed away May 22, 2012 at her residence. She was born on January 15, 1957 in Little Rock; she was the daughter of Donald W. Rice and Wavel Rice.
Vicki served as a Registered Nurse for Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock for thirty-six years. She was a devout Christian of the Baptist faith. Vicki loved traveling, boating, and was an avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks. Vicki was a loving and devoted mother who always put her daughter first, and she was also a loving daughter and a great friend to all.
She is preceded in death by her father Donald Rice.
Survivors include her daughter Mandy Dedmon, her mother Wavel Rice, her brother Ricky Rice and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2012 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Huson Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2:00p.m. Friday at Higden-McLehaney Cemetery near Higden. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Vicki's memory to Sherwood Humane Society at 6500 North Hills Blvd., Sherwood, AR 72120.
