Vernell Taylor Wood age 93 of Arkadelphia died Friday, March 8, 2013. She was born September 12, 1919 the daughter of Lewin and Tina Kirksey Daniel. She was a member of Third Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Gerald Taylor and his wife Doris of Amity, two daughters, Barbara Scott and her husband Glen of Arkadelphia, Judy McGuire and her husband James of Hot Springs, one brother, Jack Daniel and his wife Roxie of Arkadelphia, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday, March 11th at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Dr. John Small officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery at Amity. Visitation will be from 1 PM Monday till service time at the church.
Memorials may be to Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
