Verna Harrod

Verna Louise Harrod, 74, of Ft. Smith passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015. She was a member of Crystal Hill Assembly of God and Inner Circle Ministries. She was a volunteer Chaplain at Fianna Hills.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Harrod; parents, Vernon and Mittie Davis; and her daughters, Renee Burns and Debbie Harrod Porter. She is survived by her sons, Corky (Donna) Garner, Rusty (D.D.) Garner and Mike (Rachelle) Fox and Dave (Mary) Harrod, Jim (Kylnn) Porter; daughter, Mitzie Hendrix; brothers, Raymond Davis and Calvin Davis; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous extended family.
Funeral services will be held 9:00 a.m., Monday, May 18, 2015 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
