Verna Bergan

Verna Evelyn Bergan age 91 of Bismarck died Saturday May 22, 2010 in Hot Springs. She was born in Mercer, ND the daughter of Haagen and Lillian McComb Winge. She was a member of the Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bergan and two sons, Dean and Duane Bergan.

Survivors include four sons, Donald (Rachel) Bergan of Pico Rivera, CA, Darwin (Sue) Bergan of Bismarck, David (Virginia) Bergan of Haskell and Delton (Linda) Bergan of Bismarck, one daughter Delores (Norman) Edie of Malvern, one sister Ella Winge of Minneapolis, MN, 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Brother Charles Powell officiating. Burial will be in the Bismarck Missionary Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Kevin Atchley, Kirby Caple, Paul Buck, Brad Brunt, Jonathan Curtis and Murl Curtis. Honorary pallbearers are all staff and employees of Quapaw Care and Rehab.
