Verla Feagan

Verla "Carol" Feagan, 59, of Cabot lost her courageous fight with cancer on March 4, 2010. She worked for Southwestern Bell for 34 years, was a dedicated member of Bayou Meto Baptist Church and loved to volunteer there as well as Bayou Meto Elementary School and Jacksonville High School.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years and 9 months, Kenneth Feagan, of Cabot; son, Darrel Feagan and wife, Jennifer, of Sherwood; grandchild, Blake Thomas Feagan; brother, Tommy Poe, of Cabot; mother, Dolly Ann Poe, of Cabot; and three nephews and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Thomas Poe, Sr.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 5600 West 12th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday at Bayou Meto Baptist Church. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
