Vergie Eloria Wallis, 91, of Lonoke, passed away February 20, 2015 at Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Jacksonville, where she resided for seven years. She was born December 10, 1923 in Onia, Arkansas.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonita Chism of Lonoke; sons, Ferrell Wallis of Lonoke and Dewey Wallis of Little Rock; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Lucy Ballentine Brewer; son, Farron Wallis of North Little Rock; and daughter, Lawana Wallis of Mountain View.
Graveside service has been postponed due to weather. Graveside service will be rescheduled as weather permits. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary and guest book at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
