Vera Marie Fraley Quattlebum, 78, of Jacksonville passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016. She was born August 11, 1937 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to John L. and Edna Talitha Nelson Fraley. Vera was a longtime member of First Pentecostal Church and she was a seamstress and loved cake decorating.
She is survived by her children, Vickie Quattlebaum-Pratt, Vivian Doty (Skip) and Vanita Quattlebum; five grandsons; one granddaughter; ten great-grandchildren; three brothers, Gilbert Fraley (Leann), Larry Fraley (Dorothy) and Tommy Fraley (Jane); and a host of extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bueal Quattlebum; her parents; and brothers, Gary, Don and Jimmy Fraley.
Memorials may be made to Paralyzed Veterans, www.pva.org or charity of choice.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 26 followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church, NLR. Burial will be 4:30 p.m. at Mount Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery in Joy, Arkansas.
