Vera Dennis, 79, of Damascus, Arkansas, was born April 22, 1930, at Belfast, Arkansas, to Fred and Bessie (Page) Bunch, and she died Wednesday, February 3, 2010. She was an x-ray technician at Wortham & Moore Clinic for many years.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Wayne and Milton Bunch. She is survived by her husband, J. D. Dennis; one son, Cary Dennis; one stepson, Michael Dennis and one stepdaughter, Janice Ruth Cook; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack and J. D. Bunch; and two sisters, Imogene Laster and Betty Moran.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2010, at Corinth Cemetery.
