Velvalynn "Pat" Jones Hudson, 68, of Manning died Thursday, August 16, 2007 at her home. She was born February 9, 1939 in Manning, Dallas County, Arkansas, the daughter of the late James Daniel and Elsie Wingfield Goza.

She was a Bookkeeper and homemaker, and a member of the Manning Baptist Church, as well as being an active member of the Extension Homemakers Club. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmie Elton Goza and Billy Wayne Goza.

Survivors include two sons, Aubrey Leon "Jay" White of Manning, and Alan Lynn White and his wife Kim of Bismarck; a step-daughter, Dr. Mary Mehta of Florida; two sisters, Janis Stephenson of Caddo Valley, and Gail Golden and her husband Donny of Curtis; two grandchildren, Markie Danielle White and Dustin Kregg White of Ore City, TX; and five step-grandchildren, Michael and Heather Ledford of Manning, and Erin, Andrew, and Landon Mehta of Florida.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 18th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home, Arkadelphia.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19th at the Manning Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Reed officiating. Pallbearers will be Ronnie, Donnie, and Shane Stephenson, Robbie and Michael Ledford, and Tom Ed Clark.
