Velma Waymire

Velma Louise Waymire was born September 17, 1931, in Jonesboro, Arkansas to William and Mable (Dillin) King, and passed from this life on June 29, 2018 in North Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and five siblings; Clarence "Red", Burl, David, Charles and Glenda; her first husband and father to her sons, William Shad Dye; one son, Norman Ray Dye; one step-son, Steve Wayne Waymire; and a step-daughter, Janet Lee Greenwood.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Floyd Jerrel Waymire; two sons, William Rickey (Nancy) Dye and James David Dye; siblings, Laverne, Jim, Larry, Johnny, Leroy, Genevieve, Harold, Gail, and Linda; five grandchildren, William Scott, William Everett, Joshua, Robert, and Alan Dye, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home with service immediately following at 2:30 PM. Interment will be in Stoney Point Cemetery, Beebe.
