Velma Wright
Velma L. Wright, age 79 of Hot Springs, passed away November 10, 2015 at St. Vincent CHI, Host Springs. She was born on February 3, 1936 in Willow, Arkansas; she was the daughter of Artie and Vera Knight.
Velma was a bookkeeper for Hillcrest Children's Home for over 20 years. She was a founder and life long member of Shorewood Hills Assembly of God Church. She loved playing board games and putting puzzles together. She is proceeded in death by her husband Reverend Genoal Wright, her parents and her faithful Pug Buzz.
Velma is survived by her host of friends and sons Kenneth Wright, Darrell Wright, and Phil Wright and his wife Debbie. She has three grandchildren, Mandy Williams, Colt Wright, Dakota Wright and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on November 14, 2015 at Shorewood Hills Assembly of God Church in Jones Mills, Arkansas.
Burial will follow at Leola Cemetery in Leola, Arkansas
Visitation will be November 14, 2015 from 10am - 1pm at Shorewood Hills Assembly of God Church
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shorewood Assembly of God Church in Jones Mills, Arkansas
