Veldonna Weaver

Veldonna Marie Weaver, 86, of North Little Rock passed from this life on November 16, 2020. She was born March 9, 1934 in Ames, Oklahoma to the late James E. and Lula E. Strain Albright. She was an active member of the Neighbors United for Levy, PTA and volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader. Veldonna was a military spouse for twenty-six years and traveled all over the world with her husband. She was of the Catholic faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings, Merle Albright, Elwanda Moreland, Lavonna Chapman and Jimetta Dettiller.

Survivors include her children, Lowell D. Weaver Jr. (Marie) of North Little Rock, Everett W. Weaver (Maria) of Spain, Terressa E. Galbraith (Joseph Daigle) of North Little Rock, George W. Weaver (Jody) of Jacksonville and Madonna S. Alderman of Hot Springs Village. Other survivors include fourteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, brother, Bill Albright of Missouri and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
