Vaughnita Francis Hubbard, a resident of Patterson, Louisiana for the last 10 years passed away September 25, 2019 at her residence holding her son’s hand.

Vaughnita is survived her best friend of 30 years; Robert E. Cockerton, two sons; Larry (Rose) Cockerton, whom she lived with and Darrell Cockerton of Colorado, one grandson; Jeremy (Elizabeth) Kleimann, and three great-grandsons; Gabriel, Samual, and Nathaniel; two brothers; Charles “Doc” Harris of Oregon, Bill Harris of Sheridan, Arkansas, two sisters; Mollie Sue Lowery of Colorado and Doris Faye Harris of California and her dog “Buddy”.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 23 years Wallace Hubbard, her parents; Harvey and Vida Harris, four brothers; James, Harvey, Clarence and Carthel Harris and one sister; Lyndell Davis.

Vaughnita was a great mom and grandma; she loved spending time with her family; hunting, fishing, camping and cooking. She Loved going to church with her church family. Vaughnita was a hard worker her whole life, working many different jobs to support her family. She was loved by all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan, AR on Sunday, September 29, 2019. Services will be Monday, September 30, 2019 in Arkadelphia at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service in Bismarck at the Beaton Cemetery.

There will be a memorial for Vaughnita at the Central Baptist Church in Patterson, Louisiana at a later date.
