Vangie Shepherd Buck, age 90 of Arkadelphia died Sunday, January 22, 2006 at the Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She was born March 31, 1915 in Amity, AR the daughter of the late Leonard J. and Dora Elizabeth Francis Shepherd. She was a housewife and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Buck.
Survivors include five daughters, Jean Bell, Doris Ross and Glenda Watson all of Arkadelphia, Katie Wilson of Friendship and Jamie Shaw of Bryant; one brother, J.W. Shepherd of Kansas City, KS; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 25, 2006 in Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Rev. Charles Hargett officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
