A very special angel has gone to heaven. Vanessa Danielle Caviness, 43, passed in peace at her home on June 21, 2016. She was born in Russellville to Barbara Carlson Wilhoit and adopted at age 3 by Patrick Caviness. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her significant other, Steve Kooms; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her beloved pets, Vivienne and Ashley. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Harley Davis and her grandparents.
Vanessa graduated from Central High School and attended college in Nacogdoches, Texas. She became a cosmetologist and was popular in many salons in Little Rock. Vanessa was currently employed at Pulaski Heights Baptist Day School and loved the little children. She was loved by all and will be missed.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Bro. Larry Ballard.
