Valerie Esme Campbell was born on March 29, 1942 to the late Emmanuel and Gladys Campbell and passed away on December 26, 2016.

Valerie had an amazing life as a mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and her passion as a nurse at UAMS for 30 plus years. Valerie had family and friends that truly loved her. She would light up any room that she walked in with her kind spirit and warm heart.

Valerie leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Shaunelle Bennett (Travis); a son, Richard Campbell; a devoted nephew, Davienne Williams; siblings, Mc Pherson, Cleothilda, Seon and Odette Campbell , Maydeen Campbell-Williams and Lenore Mitchell; grandson, Princeton Bennett; great niece and nephew, Daviyonna Williams and Davienne Jr.; her best friend, Vena Sinclair; as well as a host of special relatives and friends whom she loved dearly. She was preceded by her brother, Vernon Campbell and her sisters, Thelma Campbell and Marjorie Parris.

A celebration of Valerie's life will be Thursday, December 29 at 3:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.).
