Belle Ledbetter Hancock age 95, of the Gum Springs community near Arkadelphia died Sunday, June 3, 2007 in Arkadelphia. She was born November 16, 1911 the daughter of W. L. and Maggie Hartsell Ledbetter.

She was a member of Gum Springs Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Levi Straus Co. and Oberman's Manufacturing in Arkadelphia. Two children and a grandson, Danny Helms preceded her in death.

Survivors are her husband of over seventy-three years, Leonard Hancock; one son, E. B. "Buddy" Hancock of Hot Springs Village; one daughter, Lilllian Helms of Arkadelphia; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P. M. Saturday, June 9, 2007 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Bro. John Howard officiating.

Interment will be in Richwoods Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Sammy Helms, Anthony Helms, Kendall Hancock, Paul Wiedower, L. T. Burress, and Naymond Buck.
