Ty Born

On July 18, 2023, Ty Lawrence Born, beloved husband and father, passed away at age 43.  Ty was an avid board game enthusiast and outdoorsman, who enjoyed spending time on the lake, riding ATVs, driving RC cars, and fishing. He loved laughing and fellowshipping with his family and friends, especially his wife and best friend of 16 years, Jessalynn, and their precious daughter Pifer. He loved being a father more than anything and his family was his greatest joy. 

Ty was born in Searcy to beloved parents, Tommie Jean (Covington) and Craig Lawrence Born, who later moved to Beebe where they considered “home.” Ty graduated from Beebe High School in 1998 and counted many classmates among his closest friends. He was especially close to his older brother Traig, Traig’s wife, Angel, and their children: Traig Jr. and Helen, all of Beebe.  Ty also treasured close relationships with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 6-8 pm, and a Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 22, at 10 am. Both will take place at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home located at 404 West Dewitt Henry Drive in Beebe.  www.smithfamilycares.com
