Truman DuBois
Truman E. "Joe" DuBois, a resident of College Square in Conway since 2004, died on December 19, 2011. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Peggy DuBois Arrigo and Danny Arrigo of Conway; his son-in-law, John Cole of New Bern, North Carolina; and his granddaughter, Shana Maryse Cole of Norfolk, Virginia.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife of almost 70 years, Mary Jane DuBois, by 7 weeks; his daughter, Diane DuBois Cole of Manassas, Virginia; and his granddaughter, Valerie Alexis Cole of Manassas, Virginia.
Joe, who was 91 years old, was a former basketball player and a naval veteran of World War II. His great joys were golfing and being in the company of other people. He was completely happy observing just about any sport involving a ball, whether in person or on television.
A memorial reception will be scheduled at a later date at College Square in Conway. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Joe's memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City OK, 73123-1718 or on line at www.cancer.org .
