Tresa Alice Smith, age 81 of McRae, AR passed away on March, 28 2017. She left peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior after living a long, full life. On November 30, 1956 in Little Rock, AR she married the love of her life, J.C. Smith, with whom she celebrated sixty wonderful years.

Surviving are their children, Lonnie Smith of Fairbanks, Alaska, Mark (Kathy) Smith of McRae, and Tammy Merriman of Searcy; grandchildren, April Gessen of Sarasota, Florida, Autumn Montgomery of Searcy, Megan Jones of Beebe, Derek Merriman of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Stephen and John Smith of Fairbanks, Alaska, Sarah Garrison of McRae; and six great grandchildren.

Tresa was a member of Northside Church of Christ, where she attended every time the doors were open. She was respected and loved by many. Tresa thought her greatest legacy was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
