Travis "Sonny" Lee Bishop

Travis “Sonny” Lee Bishop, age 75, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. 

He was born on November 8, 1947, in Newport, Arkansas, the son of Travis Bishop and Ruby Nell Taylor Bishop.  On February 14, 1997, he married Carol Lynn Adams.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and his child sister, Janet Bishop.

Travis was a Christian and a minister.  He met his loving wife, Carol, at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Little Rock.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many.  He loved sharing the gospel with everyone.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Bishop; his son, Barrett Bishop (Kristin) of Dallas, Texas; his daughter, April Robberts of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Halleck, Harry, Lisa and Mac; and a host of wonderful friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
