Travis McCaghren

Travis Joe McCaghren, age 71, of Sherwood, passed from life and entered into the eternal gates of Heaven on Monday, May 5, 2014. He was born on December 29, 1942 to Aaron D.F. and Mebylene (McElrath) McCaghren in Little Rock, Arkansas. Travis was retired from the sales and construction industries. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth A. (Bud) McCaghren. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jim-O-Lee (Pruitt) McCaghren: son Travis J. McCaghren, Jr. and wife, Monica; Aaron Jay McCaghren and wife, Amanda; grandchildren: Erika, Aaron J. Jr., Travis J. III, Elizabeth and Emily McCaghren, and Alex and Ryan Pevehouse; sisters, Sandra McDaniel and Sheila Hanks; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and friends who will forever cherish their relationships with him.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00a.m., Thursday, May 8th at Levy United Methodist Church in North Little Rock. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
Pall bearers will be Justin Fox, Todd Turley, Edward Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez, and Juan Canas.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Arkansas Hospice or Levy United Methodist Church.
