God brought Tonya Merritt of Ward into the world on Sunday, July 1, 1973 at 7:00 p.m. and took her home Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 3:07 p.m... Heaven welcomed her to a "Home Coming" with her granny, Alpha Burnett and grandfather, Aubrey (A. P.) Burnett; aunt, "Mac" Maxine Washburn; uncle, Frankie Burnett and great-grandmother, Larnie Burnett.
Tonya leaves behind her mother and father, Brenda and Gordon Higgins; sisters, Beverly Elliott and Tina Higgins; two nieces, Jessica Wright and Faith Elliott; the extended family of Alexander Law Firm and aunt Fran Hill.
Tonya was a kind and loving person and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
A time of visitation will begin Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe with funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m.. Burial will be at Cypress Valley Cemetery in Vilonia.
