Tony Whitfield

Tony Whitfield, 50, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, September 5, 2011. He was a member of the First Assembly North Little Rock and was a past employee at Galaxy Furniture. His greatest joy was in living his life for Christ and in sharing that love with his family and friends. He believed in putting Jesus Christ first in his life and his positive and encouraging spirit towards all who knew him were evidence of this.
He is survived by his wife, Polly Whitfield; two children, Rose and Ryan Whitfield, all of North Little Rock; mother, Frances Glasscock Whitfield; sister, Carol and her husband, Mike Cone, all of Jonesboro; brother, Louis Whitfield, of Little Rock; and a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Whitfield.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday at First Assembly North Little Rock. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
