Tommy Singleton

Tommy Ray Singleton, 84, of Story, Arkansas passed away March 11, 2021.  He was born January 7, 1937 in Benton, Arkansas to the late Tom and Lillie (Ballard) Singleton.

Tommy was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He was a jack of all trades who had a knack for figuring how things worked and could figure out how to fix anything on his own.  Tommy loved spending time out in the deer woods hunting.  He was an entrepreneur who bought and sold property.  Tommy’s children and grandchildren were blessings in his life, and he loved them with all his heart.  Tommy believed in living life to its fullest.  His adventurous spirit assisted him in his travels around the United States.  Tommy enjoyed life and when he wanted to do something, he did!

Preceding Tommy in death are his parents; grandson, Breck Davis; one brother; and five sisters.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his life mate for more than twenty years, Sue Smallwood of Story, Arkansas; two sons:  Chris Singleton and Joan of Benton, Arkansas and David Singleton and wife Lesha of Benton; daughter, Becky Huchingson of Benton, Arkansas; grandchildren:  Stephen Davis and wife April, Brad Singleton and wife Amanda, and Alyssa Yarberry and husband Terry; great-grandchildren:  Ronan Davis and Loren Yarberry; and many more family members and friends who love Tommy and will miss him always.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, March 15 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.  Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, March 16 at McPherson Cemetery on Salt Creek Road in Benton, Arkansas.
