Tommy McMahon

Tommy McMahon, 93, of Russellville passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020. He was born June 18, 1926 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

He was a member of the Church of the Assumption Catholic Congregation in Atkins, Arkansas.  He was a purchasing agent for Boeing and NASA during the Lunar Missions, where he was responsible for (among other things) purchasing the Lunar Lander and the Lunar Rover. He moved to Crow Mountain with his wife in 1971 and was a vibrant and happy member of the Pope County community until his passing.

Tommy is survived by his wife of 67 years, Anita (Eakin) McMahon of Crow Mountain; and grandson, James Herrod of North Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin McMahon Herrod.

A memorial service in Atkins will be announced at a later date.
