Tommy Diton Hamilton, Sr., 75, of Alexander died on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 peacefully at home while surrounded by his family. Tommy was born December 19, 1942 to the late Thomas D. and Virda (Hibbons) Hamilton in Bradford, Arkansas,
Tommy proudly served in the United States Army.
Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother: Ira Leon Turner. He is survived by one son: Tommy Diton Hamilton, Jr., and wife Cora, grandsons: Deshawn Prevost, Joe Hamilton, Troyce Hamilton and wife Leigh Ann, and Kodie Tonihka, Granddaughters: Tiffany Baker and husband Drew and Amanda Tonihka, great grandkids: Addalyn, Aubri, Jonah Baker and Braxton Tonihka, one sister: Shelia Turner and one brother: Dee Turner and wife Carolyn of Tulip, AR and special nephew: Lonny Joe Hughes (Penut).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Brother John Venable officiating at New Life Baptist Church in Alexander. Burial will follow on April 9, 2018 at the Arkansas State Veteran Cemetery at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Jason Self officiating.
