Tommy Gibson

Tommy Gene Gibson, Sr., 60, of Jacksonville, AR, left this world on Saturday, March 21, 2015. He was born in Durant, OK on March 15, 1955 to Ernest & Marie Gibson.
Tom worked in the plumbing industry for over 30 years and was the owner of Quality Plumbing, where his wife Debbie worked by his side as his helper. He was an avid hobby farmer, loved animals, and enjoyed many hobbies, including hunting, fishing, beekeeping, and anything to do with nature or the outdoors. He was a faithful member of the First Pentecostal Church and loved his pastors, Joel and Nathan Holmes. He counted it an honor to have been able to install the plumbing for the newest building of the church. Tom was also a faithful husband, father, grandfather, brother andfriend who was most happy when surrounded by those he loved.
Tom is preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers, Dale, Johnny and Richard Gibson; and sister, Alene Wallace.
He leaves behind his wife and helpmate of 35 years, Debbi; four children- Chris Gibson, Mike Warren (wife Misti), Tommy Gibson Jr., and Jennifer Welsh (husband Jackie Welsh); eight granddaughters- Skye Gibson; Julie, Marlee and Joanna Warren; Olivia and Hallie Gibson; Rylie and Sophie Welsh, and one grandson, Jack Welsh, as well as another grandson on the way; four brothers- David, Don, Paul and Joney Gibson; and four sisters- Laverne Neese, Ruth Ponder, Sherry Slater & Brenda Maples.
Tom was a loving, giving man who enriched the lives of countless others, and so he will be missed by a host of family and loved ones, as well as his church
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday at First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the church Arrangements by Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmitFamilyCares.com .
