Tommie Lou McCauley

Tommie Lou McCauley, 87, of Okolona, AR, passed from this life into the glory of Heaven on Sunday, February 9, 2025. She was born on August 6, 1937, to Tommie and Frances (Cagle) Baber.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 60 years, Mack McCauley. She is survived by her son, Mark (Pam) McCauley of Hot Springs; her daughter, Marilyn McCauley of Benton; her grandson, David (Caroline) McCauley of Ft. Worth, TX; and her sister, Mary (Bill) Faulkner of Okolona; along with several nieces and nephews.

Tommie Lou was a very loving and beautiful lady. She was a wonderful sister, mother, grandmother, and most of all a friend and blessing to everyone she knew.

Tommie was a beloved and faithful member of the Center Grove Methodist Church, where she served as treasurer. She and Mack were instrumental in building the new church in 1969.

Tommie married the perfect partner for her. They built a beautiful home, doing most of the work themselves. They lived in the home for most of their married life. They enjoyed life to the fullest. Regardless of snow, tornado warnings, or clear starry nights, Saturday nights they joined their friends square dancing all over south Arkansas. Tommie also had the unique experience of managing a new Clark County Bank branch bank in Okolona. The bank was the only bank in the entire area. There she made many life-long friends. Every summer her family dearly loved camping at the Davidson Methodist Campground. She served as Treasurer for many years there.

Tommie loved life, her little dog, Angel, and most of all she loved God and her family. She will be truly missed by family and friends.
