Tollie Ingle

Mrs. Tollie Ann Grant Ingle, 89, passed away peacefully at Lighthouse of Care in Arlington Texas on July 14, 2021, after living in the Little Rock area the better part of her life. She was born August 29, 1931, at England AR to the late Jeff Davis and Nellie Jane Watson Grant. She married the love of her life, Curtis Henry Ingle on August 19,1954, and the remained married for 47 years until his passing on April 18, 2002. Tollie worked as a switchboard operator for the Bell Company until becoming one of the top domestic engineers in the country.  She devoted her entire life to her family and friends. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her three sons, Dr. Donald Curtis Ingle (Anne), Arlington TX, Jeffery Douglas Ingle (Charlotte), Grand Prairie TX, and Claude David Ingle (Carrie), Benton AR; six grandchildren: Elizabeth Anne Ingle, Philipsburg MT; Zachery Donald Ingle, Newport News VA; Spencer Douglas Ingle, Grand Prairie TX; Bailey Elizabeth Clark (Michael), Bryant AR; Shelby Anne Ingle, and Christian Drake Ingle both of Benton AR; three great grandchildren: Parker Grace Clark, Hughes Michael Clark and Catherine Elizabeth Clark, Bryant AR; two sisters, Virginia Inez Grant, Little Rock AR and Patricia Beth Grant Lloyd, Cabot AR and numerous loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and long-term friends.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Lou Brown Allen and Carolyn Jane McKnight and one brother, Charles Donald Grant.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., July 23, 2021, at the Smith Benton Funeral Home, 322 North Market Street, Benton, Arkansas. Family visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Pinecrest memorial Park.  Special thanks to Becky Zielinski and the entire staff at Lighthouse of Care in Arlington Texas for taking such great care of Tollie thru her final years.
