Todd Alan Houser

Todd Alan Houser, age 55, of Amity, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020.

He was born on January 12, 1965, in Huntington, Indiana, the son of Jessie Spenser, Jr. and Sherry Lynn Houser. On January 14, 1981, he was married to Gina Kay Doster Houser, who preceded him in death on June 3, 2018. He was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Melvin R. Houser.

Todd was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed watching Sunday football games, old westerns and black and white movies. He was a wonderful “Grandpa Todd”, who loved to spoil his family and will always be remembered by his grandchildren for his fun four-wheeler rides.

He is survived by his son, Dylan Houser of Amity; two daughters and one son-in-law, DeeAnna Pate and Keisha and Mike Bork, all of New York; his mother, Sherry Poland of Glenwood; eleven grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas V. Poland of Amity and Christopher A. Poland of Kirby; his grandmother, Anna Houser of Peru, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.

The family will hold a celebration of Todd’s life at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Glenwood.
