Toby Sarna

Tobias “Toby” Raphael Sarna, 90, of Crystal Springs, formerly of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019. He was born August 9, 1929 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to John and Annie Sarna. He was a graduate of Catholic High School. He went to Cosmetology school in Chicago and served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He owned Toby Hair Styling Salon in Little Rock and was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed trips to Oaklawn.

He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth “Lisa” Guild (Paul); grandchildren, Kaitlin Bray and Allen Bray (Caitlin); sister, Rita Schnebelen; and Dear friend, Barbara Lyons; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife and mother of his children, Dorothy Sarna Higham; two brothers, Daniel and Clem Sarna; two sisters, Bridget Flake and JoAnn Rodriguez; and his son, John Sarna.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, 1516 Parker St., North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114.

A memorial mass will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 19, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church, North Little Rock.  Inurnment will follow at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Marche.
