Tina Gruschow

Tina Machelle Owens Gruschow, 51, of Clinton, Arkansas, born February 17, 1970 in Jacksonville, Arkansas, went to her Heavenly Home August 19th of 2021 in Clinton, Arkansas. Tina was an amazing, joyful, beautiful woman who was loved by anyone who met her.  She was the strongest and most determined daughter, sister, wife, mother and nana for her entire family.  Tina was completely selfless, always thinking of others’ needs before herself.  She was such a sweet, fun-loving friend.  She made life a little better just being around her.  Many called her best friend.  Her greatest joys were daughter Danielle, and her beautiful grandbabies Theo, Blake, Kole and Krissy.

Tina met the love of her life, Dwayne Gruschow, August of 2014 and married him in September of 2015 on the beach of Gulf Shores.  She was the love of his life and his best friend.  Tina and Dwayne loved motorcycle riding and boating.  They also enjoyed having the grandkids and frequent family visits.  Dwayne and Tina moved from Texarkana to Fairfield Bay to be closer to her family.  Dwayne loved to spoil her and gave her the best seven years of her life.  She and Dwayne loved watching movies and spending time with their puppies.  She loved her bird “Nibbles” who called her “Momma”.

Tina was her parents’ first born, who fought for her life from day one.  She was our Tina Baby.  She wasn’t just a daughter; she was one of four of the greatest gifts God could’ve given to Freddy and Connie Owens.  She was more than a sister to Kim, Jan and Gina; she was our friend, prankster and protector.  She left a legacy of love for this world.  She is our blessing.  We love you, Tina Baby.

Tina was preceded in death by a daughter, Krystalynn Lenae Dyson.

She is survived by her grandpa WC Owens of McRae; her parents, Freddy and Connie Owens of Judsonia; father-in-law Wayne Gruschow of Texarkana; her husband Dwayne Gruschow of Fairfield Bay; daughter Danielle and Athaniel Cooper of Shirley; two stepchildren, Patrick Gruschow of Texarkana, Devon of Huntsville, Alabama; along with four grandchildren, Theo, Blake, Kole and Krissy of Shirley; three sisters, Kim and William Dowdy of Bald Knob, Jan Parchman of Searcy, Gina and Tracy Smith of Judsonia; best friend who she considered a sister, Kim Adams of Drasco; twelve nieces and nephews; twelve great nieces and nephews; two honorary grandchildren, Benton Blahnik and Ali Guathier; and a host of family and friends.
