Timothy Jon Zimmerman

Timothy Jon Zimmerman, 60, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away May 9, 2023 at the Veterans Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born November 14, 1962 in LaSalle, Illinois to Kenneth Zimmerman and Beatrice (Wunsh) Dober.

Timothy served in the United States Army.  He had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, bowling, and playing softball.  Timothy was always the life of the party and was willing to help anyone in need.  Family was his number one priority and he was very protective of them.  

Preceding Timothy in death are his father, Kenneth Zimmerman; mother, Beatrice Wunsh Dober; son, Curtis Zimmerman; and brother, Doug Dober.

Timothy leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Diana Vasquez Zimmerman; son, Lucas Zimmerman; brother, Steve Zimmerman and wife Linda; sisters:  Sherry Dober, and Tanya Bunders and husband Brian; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who love Timothy and will miss him always.

By family request, the Patriot Guard will lead the funeral procession to the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery from Smith-Benton Funeral Home for a graveside service at 11:45 AM on Wednesday, May 17.   Graveside service begins promptly at 1:00 PM at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
