Timothy Vanzant

Timothy Dale VanZant, 56, of Bigelow, AR passed away April 6, 2018. He was born December 30, 1961 in Little Rock, AR. A son of the late Wesley Dab VanZant and Catherine Ann Pressler VanZant.
He is survived by two sons , Anthony Dale VanZant of Bigelow and Timothy Duane Thacker (Grettel) of Texas, along with three children Zoee Thacker, Thomas Thacker, and Allen Espinosa, all of Texas; four brothers, Johnny Greenwalt (Bonnie) of Bigelow, Daniel Greenwalt of Michigan, Bill Greenwalt of Marshall, and Kenneth (Bo) Greenwalt of Hardy; three sisters Mary Walker (Duane) of Harrison, Karen Willingham of Ozone, and Cindy Friend (Henry) of Harrison; also Angie Drinkwater, loving girlfriend of Houston and several nieces and nephews.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Paul Greenwalt and David VanZant.
Right out of school Timothy began working at Denny’s restaurant in Little Rock where he worked as a cook for 20 plus years. Then he worked at University of Central Arkansas in Conway as lawn maintenance.
Timothy enjoyed living every day to its fullest. He enjoyed life and anything to do with the outdoors. He enjoyed watching the wildlife , listening to the birds sing, and also listening to music. He was passionate about cooking, golf, and playing horseshoes.
Timothy was loved by everyone he met and will be greatly missed by many family and friends.
Visitation is Thursday, April 12 from 12-2 p.m. in the Griffin Leggett Conway Chapel. Service will follow at 2 p.m.
