Timothy Quertermous

Tim Quertermous was born in Paducah, KY on June 2, 1951 to Hubert and Mary Aline Quertermous. He passed away at his home on Monday, November 17, 2008. His family and friends will remember him for his long career as a Luthier and string instrument craftsman. Many of these years were spent at Boyd's Music where he developed and maintained many friendships with people within the music industry. He was a gentle and caring person who loved his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother; his son, Timothy (Kes) Quertermous of Fayetteville, AR; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Keith Nash and Becky and Jef Pryor of Little Rock; his brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Susan Quertermous of Canton, MS; and his nieces and nephews, Aron, Lauren and Rachel Nash, Andrea and Thomas Pryor and Tyler and Kelly Quertermous.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2008 at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church, 1003 N. Tyler St., Little Rock. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Rd., Little Rock, AR 72210.
