Timothy A. Kemp, Sr.

Timothy A. Kemp, Sr., age 57, of Mt. Pine, AR, passed away Saturday, May 06, 2023.

He was born on March 30, 1966, in Arkansas, the son of James L. Kemp, Sr. and Cara Nina Kemp.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Timothy A. Kemp, Jr.; and his brother, James L. Kemp, Jr.

Tim was a veteran of the United States Army, a proud member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, and was an ordained minister.  He was the type of person that if you ever met, you never forgot him, he never met a stranger.  He loved his children and grandchildren deeply and enjoyed spending his time with them when possible.

He is survived by his daughters, Kelli and husband, Michael Calhoun, Karrie and husband, Kyle Strickland, and Taylor and husband, Killian Horne; grandchildren, Blaine and wife, Christine Sparks, Ashton Sparks, Mikey Calhoun, Brodie Kemp, Tristen McCart, Megan McCart, Nicholas McCart, and Madison Kemp; aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, extended family and a host of wonderful friends.

Tim will be missed dearly.  He is now reunited with his son.

A visitation will be held at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs, AR, at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 12, 2023, a service will follow at 2:00 pm.
