Timothy Gregory Bratton

Timothy Gregory Bratton, 68, of Malvern, Arkansas passed away June 8, 2023.  He was born November 1, 1954 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Albert Carl and Pauline (Garnett) Bratton.

Timothy served in the United States Air Force.  He worked at Coors Tek as a machine operator.   He enjoyed fishing and playing pool.  Timothy collected many things including guns and coins.  Family was important to Timothy and he was affectionately called "Papa Tim".  Timothy had a great sense of humor and told dad jokes, which are now referred to as "Tim Jokes".  He enjoyed smoking meats and his family say his smoked pork butt was the best BBQ in Arkansas.

Preceding Timothy in death are his son, Danny Bratton; parents, Albert Carl Bratton and Pauline Bratton; and brother, Todd Bratton.

Timothy leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Laura Aliece (Bagley) Bratton; son, David Bratton and wife Kari of Jessieville, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Danielle Bratton of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandchildren:  DJ Bratton and Chloe Bratton; siblings:  Rick Bratton of Ponca, Arkansas, Gina Shleton and husband Chuck of Conway, Arkansas, Marquitta Weaver of Conway, Arkansas, and Alan Bratton and wife Diana of Clarksville, Arkansas; step-children:  Lori Dobbins of Winiford, Arkansas, Jennifer Thrift and husband Jeremy of Carlisle, Arkansas, and Jeremy Hutcheson and wife Teresa of Perryville, Arkansas; step-grandchildren:  Britni, Megan, Ashley and husband Jason, Tiffany and husband Chris, Skylar, Alex., Jessica and husband Trevor; several step great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends who love Timothy and will miss them always.

Services will be held on Wednesday, June 14, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, in Benton, Arkansas with visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM, followed by funeral service at 11:00 AM.  Burial with military honors to follow at Rosemont Cemetery in Benton.
