Timmie Neal Travis, 63, of Lonoke, passed away in his home March 1, 2022 with family. He was born March 20, 1958 in Lonoke, Arkansas to the late Billy Sugg and Jettie Marie Moore. Tim was always a hard worker; he started in his younger years farming watermelons with his father, and in later years they started their family business, Travis Construction and operated in the dirt business for 25 years.
Tim was an avid Hogs fan and loved hunting, fishing, working in the yard, and most of all ‘rocking out’ to his favorite 70s rock and roll bands. He also took great pride in the things that he worked hard for, especially around his home.
Over the last three years, when he became unable to work, he spent most of his time at home, relaxing on the porch and spending time with his kids and grandchildren, playing checkers, ball, and passing on his hunting skills and knowledge to the boys.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his children, Tyler Neal Travis and Autumn Brooke Travis Brossett; grandchildren Gabe, Aden, Easton and Heidi Brossett, Millie and Rhett Travis; sisters Connie Hanusowski (Alex) and Trina Welch (Wayne).
