Thurston J. Lewis age 89 of Arkadelphia died Monday June 12, 2006 in Baptist Health Center in Arkadelphia. He was born April 27, 1917 the son of William Terrell and Lethal Van Winkle Lewis. He was a graduate of Henderson State University, retired from the Merchant Marine, and a member of the Second Baptist Church of Arkadelphia.
He is survived by a sister-in law Edith Lewis of Smithville, OK and a nephew Tommy Lewis.
Graveside funeral services will be 1 P.M. Wednesday in the Page Cemetery in Page, OK with Rev. Carl Kluck officiating under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund.
