Thomas Owen Morris, aka "Grand Tom", 70, of Hot Springs, Arkansas went to be with the Lord August 11, 2019. He was born November 12, 1948 in Paul's Valley, Oklahoma to the late Floyd and Lucille (Soderholm) Morris.
Tom loved the Lord with all his heart and was a member of First HSV Assembly of God. Tom loved to sing and was gifted with a beautiful singing voice from God. He enjoyed his family, gardening, photography, cooking, scrapbooking, and taking care of the animals at Loco Bonita Ranch. He had a passion for talking to people about Jesus and always found a way to encourage everyone around him.
Preceding Tom in death are his loving wife, Sandra Lynn Morris; and his parents.
Tom leaves behind to cherish his memory: his daughter, Stephanie Morris of Hot Springs, Arkansas; son, James Morris and wife Kimberley of Bismarck, Arkansas; step-daughters: Sonja McCaleb and husband John of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Shawna Mills and husband Allen of Conroe, Texas; grandchildren: Gracelyn Hill, Aiden Belknap, Onyx Rowan, Courtney Overacker and husband Eric, Brittany Dickinson and husband Devin, Andrea Brignac and husband Will, Stephen Austin, and Aric Mills; nine great-grandchildren; brothers: Fred Morris and wife Jamie and James Morris; sister, Kathy Lowry and husband Terry; and numerous nieces and nephews. Tom will also be missed by many family members and friends.
Memorial service, officiated by Pastor Ronnie Gilmore, held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, August 15 at First HSV Assembly of God, 1096 DeSoto Blvd., Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Loco Bonita Ranch in Hot Springs.
