Thomas Tidwell

Thomas Lyndal Tidwell was rewarded with ultimate healing on Thursday, June 22, 2006. He was a lifelong resident of Friendship, AR where he was born August 21, 1930. He was a Welder and Blacksmith for Reynolds Metal Co. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, but most important to him was his relationship with Jesus as his savior for more than 40 years. "Uncle Bo", who was predeceased by all seven of his siblings, will be missed by a large number of nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.


He will be missed by his wife of 38 years, Doris (Plum) Tidwell, and by his two daughters' families: Michelle Harris, husband, Dale and sons, Stan Wells and Dillon Harris; Gwen McCallister, husband, Terry and sons, Jeremy, Jesse, and Jeff.


Family visitation will be Monday, June 26, 2006 from 6-8 PM at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Home going celebration at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 27, 2006 and burial at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to Calvary Baptist Church c/o Elizabeth Elrod, 660 Ford Dr Malvern, AR 72104.
